As the highest point on the island, Locmaria is a land of contrasts, boasting Belle-Île’s tallest cliffs alongside the charm of expansive beaches like Les Grands Sables.

Home to 900 residents across 33 hamlets and the village centre, Locmaria is also where you’ll find the magnificent Notre-Dame-du-Bois-Tors church. A testament to the first millennium, its sunny facade, framed by a palm tree and vibrant forecourt, evokes a distinctly South American vibe.
