Act-Meizad

Design, production and coordination of cultural projects. "Act -Meizad" means concept in Breton. This association, based in Belle Île en Mer, seeks to design, produce and coordinate cultural projects promoting the tangible and intangible heritage of Belle Île in conjunction with the inhabitants and associations present in the territory. The theater projects are led by the "Chats Hutants" troupe. Since 2015, Sylvie Thienot has written and directed shows linked to the historical heritage of the island for the Association: "14/18: Destins de Femmes", "Sarah, vous n'êtes pas au théâtre!" and in 2022 "Le bal des vauriens". With the “Chats Hutants” troupe, she also offers offbeat or burlesque shows “Jojo, le Barjo” in 2017, inspired by the tales of Nasreddine Hodja, “Bidules trucs” by Pierre Notte in 2018 or “Miche et Drate” by Gérald Chevrolet in 2020.
