Live painting, based on a fantastic short story by Bernard Traven. Armed with his long axe, resigned, Macario goes into the forest every morning to cut firewood that he will sell for a few centavos. In the miserable cabin where his family is crammed, they eat little, they talk little. Despite the poor living conditions, Macario's wife manages to offer him the unattainable dream that has obsessed him for so long. Satisfied by this present, Macario did not ask for more. Really, no more. In this beautiful and macabre Mexican fable, we hear the gold coins clinking and the mandibles of destiny clicking. We enter this pueblo perdido through the voice of the reader. Soon, the music will dissipate the smells and the crowing of the roosters. From the first word spoken, the brush comes to life on the giant screen.
