Vocals/composition: Morjane Ténéré; Instrumentation: Christian Helgi. Morjane Ténéré is a singer-songwriter with an organic and intimate universe. She draws her inspiration from the raw landscapes and ancestral cultures of the desert (Native Americans, North and West Africa, India). In Tamasheq, a Tuareg language, “Ténéré” means desert. She bears this name like a talisman, imbuing her compositions with a strong relationship to nature and the elements (water, fire, earth, air). Morjane is driven by a quest for initiatory meaning, a desire to better understand the place of humans and living things on earth. Accompanied on stage by Christian Helgi (multi-instrumentalist, photographer, director), they try to put their worlds into images and music.
