    The Bibliothèque du Génie is offering the exhibition "Les Balnéaires" by Régis Lejonc from August 1 to 28, 2024. In parallel with the eponymous book written by a collective of authors (Clémentine Beauvais, Cécile Roumiguière...) and illustrated with great care , this exhibition questions the female body, plays on the canons, "of all ages, of all origins, of all corpulences". Régis Lejonc is a French artist, painter, illustrator, graphic designer and author of children's literature. He has been awarded several prizes, including the Baobab Prize in 2002 for "Au bout ducompte", and the Grand Prix de l'illustration in 2010, for "Quelles Couleurs!" (2009). In 2018, for his illustration work, he was twice winner of the Sorcières Prize: Carrément Beau - Maxi category for "Le jardin du dedans-dehors", text by Chiara Mezzalama and Carrément Sorcières - Fiction category, for "Cœur de wood", text by Henri Meunier. In partnership with the Longue Vue bookstore and Belle-Île-en-livres, we will also have the pleasure of receiving it for a signing session on Saturday August 10, 2024 from 10:30 a.m.
