Theme 2024: Little Planet. Castiglione d'Otranto, in southern Italy. A group of thirty-somethings no longer accept that the solution to the economic, ecological and political problems of the territory is always to "Leave". They propose to the villagers who own pieces of fallow land, often felt as a burden, to pool them. They then decide to stay, to link their lives to the land and to invest in a value: being together. Castiglione becomes the village of Restance. We cultivate ancient seeds and local biodiversity, we decide together, we develop a local economy. By accepting the shadows of the past, we rediscover another potential of the place. * Meeting with the director after the screening.
