The port of Palais is made up of 4 basins: • The outer harbor with constant water, well sheltered from the winds, except from east to south-east. Mooring on buoys alongside, north breakwater respecting the night mooring areas of ferries or breakwater; 70 places. Regulated and very limited berthing at the Bonnelle slipway. • The rear harbor for grounding, after the Yser channel, at the foot of the citadel. A few places possible along the quays on the starboard side. Access prohibited to the small pontoon. Careening grid; water at the lock. • The floating dock, the entrance to which is regulated by a lock open for 3 hours at high tide during the day. Pedestrian bridge raised on request. 90 floating berths, alongside the quays. Regular coastal traffic with priority on the starboard quay. • The saltworks basin, marina with catway, some berths available in season. Ask the harbor master's office 24 hours in advance.
