A film written, shot and directed by Eliza Levy on the thought of Philippe Descola. From where can we rethink our world in order to transform it? Philippe Descola has devoted his life as an anthropologist to studying how humans compose their worlds; Leaving Amazonia, he turned his field of research towards Europe, in order to understand how we, the moderns, had been able to make the earth less and less habitable. The film takes him to embody his ideas, in dialogue with non-humans all around us, at the heart of a unique societal experience in the world, in France, at Notre-Dame-des-Landes. There, on and with the earth saved from the concrete, instead of a pharaonic airport, a new composition of the world unfolds.
