Lyrique en Mer : Hommage à Sarah Bernhardt : Côté scène, côté jardin

“Côté Scène” and “Côté Jardin”. The year 2023 marks the centenary of the death of Sarah Bernhardt which occurred on March 26, 1923. In the continuity of the tribute to Reynaldo Hahn who brought together an actor, musician and singer on stage in the fabulous natural setting of the Fort des Poulains in Sauzon , the Festival is offering this summer a “words and music” diptych entitled “Sarah, stage side and garden side” to honor the one who had chosen to name her memoirs: “My double life”. The musical illustrations in this tribute celebrate the stage roles that Sarah created in their theatrical versions.
