Micro-Folie des îles du Ponant : Musée numérique itinérant

The Micro-Folie is a device allowing to bring culture closer to the inhabitants. It is based on the installation of a digital museum which allows access to several hundred works in digital format. The spirit of a micro-folie project is therefore articulated around a digital museum in collaboration with 12 founding national cultural establishments (the Center Pompidou, the Château de Versailles, the Cité de la Musique – Philharmonie de Paris, the Festival d'Avignon, the Arab World Institute, the Louvre, the Picasso-Paris National Museum, the Orsay Museum, the Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac Museum, the Paris Opera, the Réunion des Musées Nationaux – Grand Palais, Univers science and La Villette.), made available to residents. La microfolie will stop on the Iles du Ponant on a Breton heritage boat: the Notre Dame de Rumengol, a cargo ship built and motorized in 1945 and classified as a historic monument in 1990.
