Welsh tenor William Searle joins festival artistic director Philip Walsh on piano for a musical spring celebration. On the program, music inspired by nature, the month of April and the spring season, composed by Purcell, Handel and Bizet, as well as “The Butterfly”, written by Philip Walsh. There is also a set of songs by Gabriel Fauré, who died 100 years ago, and four Hungarian peasant songs by Béla Bartók, composer of Lyrique-en-mer's summer season opera, “Le château de Barbe- Blue.”
