Plage de Port blanc

Beach in Locmaria
  • The beach, facing east-northeast, can accommodate around fifty people on its fine sand. It is cut in two by a sloping access which once allowed the launching of the lifeboat whose shelter, leveled at one meter high, was used from 1873 to the Second World War. Anchorages exist just offshore. Above the beach, to the right, we see a boxed fort dating from the Second Empire.
