Plage de Port York

Beach in Le Palais
  • This cove of yellow sand, about a hundred meters wide, permanently sunny, forms the mouth of a long and wide valley. The fresh water, which it drains, has formed the marsh that precedes the beach and flows to the right of it. Swimming is safe there. When the sea recedes, the bottom of the beach is rich in algae of all kinds. To the right of Port York, exploring the rocks can lead to the discovery of curries, sea urchins or rare abalone
