Plage des Grands Sables

This vast beach of clear and fine sand, oriented to the northeast, is sunny all day and very sheltered from the west winds. The sea is calm and the sandy foreshore, unique to Belle Ile because it is protected from the swell, offers numerous shells all year round. The red sand at the entrance to the sailing school owes its color to the garnet powder that goes into its composition. Water sports are also in the spotlight on this beach: sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding.
