Come discover the different aspects of the starry sky, in life size, by immersion under a mobile and inflatable planetarium! Session for all ages from 6 years old. - Duration: 1 hour. The Cosmos Mimesis traveling Planetarium will come to the Arletty room for a week, in partnership with the Belle-île Astronomical Association. You will be able to learn more about the stars, the constellations, the curiosities of the sky, experience a journey through the solar system, relive the conquest of space with in particular the ISS, see the latest James Webb space telescope or even relive the conquest of the Moon with the last Apollo 17 mission… Some of you may not have any knowledge of the starry sky. Here is the opportunity to explore our environment with the planets of our solar system and, further away, the fabulous world of the stars of our Galaxy: the Milky Way. Then, much further still, exit the Milky Way and set off to discover the distant galaxies of the Universe. This year 2023 we are celebrating the centenary of the first planetarium to be built in Germany. The commissioning of the first ZEISS Model I planetarium projector took place on September 16, 1923. The first public presentation took place in 1924. On this occasion, the AABI will present an exhibition on this centenary.
