Sacha admires Papic, his grandfather with the long, spicy beard. In this beard, Sacha picks hidden objects: A nail, a rose, a fishhook... These represent so many stories and memories which, through the grandfather's story, come back to life. The child grows up, questions and the aging grandfather invites him into his past and traces the origins of their family.
