The Pilates method is a set of exercises aimed at strengthening the deep muscles of the body, the one that supports our posture. This technique bears the name of its creator, Joseph Pilates, who developed it in the early 1930s in New York. Its particularity is to grant great importance to the center of the body, in other words to the abdominal belt and the deep muscles of the back, as the basis of a harmonious posture. However, during a Pilates session, the whole body is reworked. Emphasis is placed on control and fluidity of movement, breathing, coordination and precision. This method strengthens and lengthens the muscles, improves awareness of the body and posture, develops flexibility and balance while channeling stress. This practice is for everyone... and everyone!
