What actions for the care and what progress in research in rare diseases of genetic origin? A round table on the occasion of the AFM-Telethon 2024 campaign. At the end of November and beginning of December of each year, the AFM-Telethon campaign is held to raise funds for rare diseases mainly of genetic origin. This is an opportunity to take stock of the associative and public authorities' actions for these rare diseases. Where does the money from donations go and what progress in research? Round table with Colette PETREL (Bellithon), Clémence LIEVRE, Inserm team 1089 of Nantes (gene therapy in muscular diseases), Béatrice CRICKX (UTL and representing the AFM).
