According to rumors, it would be a strike ... Paul can no longer take a step in his apartment without being asked by his neighbors. The garbage collectors' strike has made the Residence uninhabitable and everyone goes there with their complaint. We get heated, we talk a lot, we listen to each other little, each in his corner calling unsuccessfully for collective action. The neighbors are more and more numerous but good wills neutralize each other and any possibility of union fails in the face of the need of each to be recognized and understood in his singularity. In the general hubbub, everyone ends up waiting for the arrival of a providential person who will impose himself and decide in place of the others. Alexandre Markoff, the author and director, has written a crazy play that tracks the seeds of totalitarianism through the joyful and burlesque madness of a condominium meeting.
