Markets and local producers

Sweet, salty or iodized, the many specialties of Belle-île delight the taste buds of all, inhabitants and visitors.

For the salted barbecues, they are stalls of meats, local cured meats, cheeses and vegetables produced here, on our island lands.
For the iodizedbecs, the “fresh of the day” arrivals, of fish, barnacles, shellfish, seafood and oysters will give a festive air to your tables in all seasons.
For the sweet tooth, we have honeys with a unique and intense flavor, cookies and caramels 100% pure butter…and all this can be pleasantly accompanied by local beverages: apple juice, beers and whiskey. (to be enjoyed in moderation)

The markets of the 4 communes are also the ideal places to make beautiful island encounters and taste the 100% bellilois products.
Some addresses even offer guided tours of their manufacturing workshops.
